Units of Study
Students in the upper grades are currently doing their Physical Fitness Testing. While our younger students are in the middle of a scooter unit.
There are a number of expectations that I have for my Physical Education class. First and foremost is that I expect my students to be, both, physically and mentally ready for their class. Being physically ready means having their sneakers and wearing clothing that is appropriate for physical activity. Furthermore, we expect them to take care of their bodies by eating breakfast and drinking enough water, so that they can be at their best in class. From an attitude and/or mental approach I also have the expectations that the students listen to the teacher and try their best. Whether a student is a "superstar" athlete or not is not my main goal is to improve the kids overall fitness, getting them to do their best, and creating a classroom environment that allows them to flourish. Looking forward to another great school year.
Just a reminder to all of Mr. McIntosh's P.E. students that they need to wear sneakers to class.
